Thrifting and Procrastinating at the Same Time... A College Student's Dream

The life of a college student means attending class (sometimes), sleeping, multiple cups of coffee, and spending time with friends.
So obviously, being productive isn't exactly at the top of our to-do lists.
It's easy to browse for a few minutes during a class or in the IC, but we don't usually have the time to go out on a shopping spree (and our budgets probably couldn't handle it either). That's why, as fellow college students, we're excited to share a way you can thrift shop... from your bed.

Poshmark, Thredup, and Depop are just a few of the many apps/websites you can now buy and sell second-hand clothing. These sites are social commerce marketplaces, where developers are essentially a third party to help users sell and make a purchase through a social platform.
As a college student, this is a great option if you're short on time, and tight on your budget.
Whether you want a pair of name brand jeans, a dress for a formal, or the season's newest handbag, online thrifting is the perfect place to start. Not only can you purchase trendy second-hand clothing at a great price, but you can also sell your clothes you don't wear!
Whether you are looking for something specific or just shopping around, consider thrifting online to find second-hand pieces at a great price!
Are you a fan of online thrift shopping? DM us a picture of your favorite piece and let us know if you prefer thrifting online or in person!
I have always been rather anxious and awkward when it comes to speaking to people in person, especially when it comes to shopping. Before reading this, I did not know there was even such a thing as online thrifting. Now that I know, it is something I will definitely utilize to avoid the anxiety that human interaction brings me. Thank you for the information, I will definitely be online thrifting to not only save myself from embarrassment through conversation with workers but also to save money and spend in a manner that aligns with my meager budget.
I've never thought to try this! I've heard of selling but now im going to try shopping!
Thanks for the advice on online shopping! Very insightful
This post is great! I can’t wait to find great new things from the comfort of my bed!! Just in time for the holidays too!!
