Lily is a fun funky fresh sophomore double majoring in Public Relations and English. She has been an avid thrifter since early high school, and because Chicago has so many amazing, one of a kind thrift places, her thrifting addiction was only fueled after starting at Loyola. Her favorite thrift store is Village Discount Outlet Store in Andersonville, because she likes the variety and prices. Her secret talent is being able to look at you and guess your zodiac sign, what character you would be in Stephen King’s IT, and what ice cream flavor you order.
Mady is a junior majoring in Film and Digital Production and minoring in Photography. She has always enjoyed dabbling in thrifting, but since moving to Chicago, she has enjoyed discovering an entirely new world of secondhand shopping and is excited to find even more as a Finderskeeper. One thing that is very important to Mady is her love for chicken nuggets; her current record, which she is working hard to one day surpass, is 38 nuggets in one sitting.
Julia is a sophomore majoring in Public Relations and minoring in management. She is somewhat new to the thrifting world but is excited to learn more tips and tricks. Her favorite thrift store is Belmont Army Vintage on Belmont because of its variety of outfits and cool accessories. What makes Julia unique is that she is left handed.
Declan is a senior majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Sport Management. He’s extremely new to the thrifting world, but is looking forward to finding out what the world of thrifting has in store for him. He can’t wait to find his favorite new spot to go thrifting and hopes to find some rare throwback football jerseys. A fun fact about Declan is he loves anything blueberry flavored, but has never eaten an actual blueberry.
Joe is a sophomore majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Music. While he doesn’t know much about thrifting, he’s ready to learn with the help of his new thrifting friends! His first, and only, thrifting item was a tacky, bright orange belt he bought because he forgot to wear a belt to Riot Fest. One fun fact about Joe is that he sings Jazz with the LUC Jazzuits!
