Projects with thrifted jeans have created some of our favorite clothing items, so we wanted to share some easy ways to make jeans unique!!
PAINTING JEANS
supplies needed: acrylic paints, a textile medium (mod podge), painters tape

step 1 - cut your jeans if you want!! I prefer to roll mine, so I'm gonna skip this step!
step 2 - throw them in the wash, especially if you just got them from a thrift store.
step 3 - outline the pocket of your jeans in tape.

step 4 - start to paint!!! make sure you mix all colors you use with the textile medium of your choice.

step 5 - take the tape off!!

step 6 - add any extra details / outlining with sharpie

step 7 - when you're done, grab a hair dryer and dry the paint for 5 minutes

step 8 - flip the jeans inside out and dry the inside with the hair dryer for 5 minutes

step 9 - wash the jeans again!! this time, inside out and on low with cold water.
all done!! enjoy your custom jeans :D
